Research tells us several things, one needs a college education to get a high paying job but also that student debt is making it difficult to qualify for a mortgage. It has been proven that home ownership provides the most important part of most Americans wealth building as well as making stable families and neighborhoods. Even before I became a Realtor, I believed in the value of home ownership and still do.
I’ve got no pat answer for the next generations on how to make homeownership happen other than the importance of building a good credit history, saving for that downpayment and taking the plunge when ready. I’d love to help.
